Synagogue in Safed is a beautiful image of one of Safeds’ old synagogues. Gutman succeeded in creating a spiritual and mystical image of a synagogue occupied by several orthodox Jews talking and praying. With abstract touches and a sensitive use of color, Gutman was able to create one of the most striking and insightful images.
