Avner Katz

Avner Katz was born in Kibbutz Ramat Rachel. Katz has written and illustrated books for children and adults, some were adapted to other languages, including English; he has illustrated over 200 books, as well as magazine and book covers, record sleeves, and posters; designed exhibition pavilions, theater sets and costumes; was a member of the editorial board and a regular participant in the satirical section Davar Acher of the daily Davar (1982-92), and a regular columnist in several leading Israeli newspapers and magazines.
