The Best Meal is another one of Moreno’s beautiful and intimate restaurant scenes. In this print the dining couple is presented through a green oval window. Moreno’s great interest in detail is evident in this extremely detailed depiction of the dining table with plates of fish, eggs, bread along with bottles of wine and of water, and of its surrounding, the basket at the back, the blue tiled floor and he man’s decorative suspenders.
